Cancel a Ten Percent Happier App Subscription

You can cancel a monthly or annual app subscription any time. When you cancel you'll continue to have full subscription access until the expiration date after which you'll have a free account with access to anything that's unlocked in the app.

Uninstalling the app or deleting it from your mobile device doesn't cancel your subscription.

The way to cancel your subscription depends on where you bought it. If you're not sure, check out our Help Center article How to Tell Where You Bought Your Ten Percent Happier App Subscription.

Scroll or click on the title below to get to the section that applies to your subscription:

If You Subscribed on the Ten Percent Happier Website

We'll cancel your subscription from our end. Please email our customer support team at support@tenpercent.com and include the address you used to register your subscribed account.

  1. If you're not sure what address that is, check out our Help Center article How to Tell What Address Your App Is Signed Into.
  2. If you can't find the address you used when purchasing your subscription, send us the last four digits of the credit you used for the purchase as well as the date and amount of your subscription. We'll research it for you.
  3. If you use an iPhone or iPad, you might have created your Ten Percent Happier account with Sign in with Apple and chosen to hide your email address. Here's how to check that:
    • Open the Apple Settings app.
    • Tap Your Name at the top of the screen.
    • Tap Password & Security.
    • Tap Apps Using Apple ID.
    • If Ten Percent Happier is listed please tap it.
    • If there's a string of letters and numbers under This App Received, please send that string to us so we can look it up. This is the unique identifier Apple assigned to your account.

If You Subscribed through Apple's App Store

You'll need to cancel your subscription through your Apple ID. To comply with Apple's security and privacy rules, only the account owner can make this change.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad.
  2. Tap Your Name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap the Ten Percent Happier subscription.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm your cancellation to stop it from auto-enrolling you in a paid subscription.
    • If you don't see Cancel Subscription in red letters underneath the subscription options, you've already cancelled the renewal of your Ten Percent Happier account.
    • You can confirm this by signing into your Apple ID on the Apple Manage Subscriptions Webpage.
  6. Apple requires cancellation 24 hours before a subscription or free trial expires. If your cancellation request crossed paths with your purchase, contact Apple for a refund. This article on Apple's website has information on how to do that: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.

If you have any trouble with these steps or need to cancel from your desktop computer please go to Apple’s support page here.

You can confirm all your Apple ID trials and subscriptions by logging into your Apple ID account on their website at See Your Purchase History For the App Store, or access Purchase History in your Settings app.

If you run into any snags please call Applecare at 800-275-2273 in the United States or check their webpage here: Apple Support Worldwide Phone Numbers, for the number in your area. Please be sure to tap or ask for Apple's billing support since that's the team at Apple that has access to your Apple ID purchases.
