How to Tell Where You Bought Your Ten Percent Happier App Subscription

Thanks for using Ten Percent Happier to learn about mindfulness meditation! There are several ways to buy a Ten Percent Happier app subscription and making changes to it can be different depending on where you got it.


You can tell where you bought your Ten Percent Happier app subscription inside the app settings. 

  • Tap the Profile icon at the top of the screen.
  • Tap Settings (gear icon) in the upper, right corner.
  • Tap Subscription under MEMBERSHIP.
  • The Type of subscription can be any of the following: 
    • Google: Purchased through the Google Play Store. You can manage your account through Google Play or email us.
    • Apple: Purchased through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID account. As the account owner, you'll need to manage your account through Apple.
    • Web: Purchased on the Ten Percent Happier website. Email us at support@tenpercent.com to manage your account.
    • *Gift: You redeemed a Ten Percent Happier gift certificate.
    • *Complimentary: Ten Percent Happier staff put complimentary subscription access onto your account.
    • *Organization: Your subscription is paid for by your employer.
    • *Promotional: You redeemed a promotional code.
    • *Referral: You redeemed a 30 day Guest Pass shared by a friend.
  • If you bought your subscription you can tap Subscription to see additional details and link to information about managing your account.

*These subscription types don't need to be canceled because they expire automatically: Gift, Complimentary, Organization, Promotional, Referral. 


Free Trial Set To Subscribe Automatically

If you're in a free trial of Ten Percent Happier that will roll into an annual subscription automatically, your Subscription page will look like this (Note: the Type will vary):

Free Trial Set To Expire with No Subscription After

If you're in a free trial of Ten Percent Happier that's been cancelled, your Subscription page will look like this (Note: the Type will vary):

You'll still get your full, free trial. The cancellation only stops the subscription from happening automatically at the end of the trial.

Subscription Set to Renew Automatically

If you have an active subscription to Ten Percent Happier that's set to renew, your Subscription page will look like this (Note: the Type will vary):
