Redeem a Gift or Promotional Subscription

Redeem your gift certificate, guest pass or promotional code on our website, then log into that account on your cellphone and/or tablet to use your subscription. You can sign into the same account on more than one device - just be sure to use the same registration each time.

If You've Never Had a Ten Percent Happier Account

  1. Tap this link, Redeem Your Ten Percent Happier Gift Certificate, to get to the redemption page on our website.
  2. Create a Ten Percent Happier account. Keep track of whether you set it up with an email address and password or Sign in with Apple so you can log into the app on your phone the same way.
  3. Enter your Gift/Promo code (capital letters count and the hyphen if there is one).
  4. If you don't already have the free Ten Percent Happier app on your cellphone or tablet, download it from the Apple App Store and sign in the same way you did to redeem your code. Find instructions to get signed in here: Sign In to Ten Percent Happier With an Existing Account.

If You Already Have a Ten Percent Happier Account

  1. So that you get full use of any current free trial or subscription, you need to wait for it to expire before you redeem the code.
    1. You can check that date in your app settings: Find Out When Your Subscription Ends.
    2. Make sure any automatic enrollment or renewal is cancelled on your current subscription, then wait for it to end before redeeming your code. Our Help Center article Cancel a Ten Percent Happier App Subscription might be helpful.
  2. Make sure you know what address your using in the app. Read our Help Center article How to Tell What Address Your App Is Signed Into if you're not sure how you created your account. 
  3. Tap this link, Redeem Your Ten Percent Happier Gift Certificate, to get to the redemption page on our website.
  4. Tap Log In at the top of the screen and sign into your account. If you need to reset your password to login use this link. You don't need a password if you created your account using Sign in with Apple.
  5. Enter your Gift/Promo code (capital letters count and the hyphen if there is one).
  6. Tap Redeem. 
  7. Go back to the app on your phone and everything will be unlocked again.

Good Things to Know About Gift and Promotional Subscriptions

  • No cancelation is required for a gift certificate, guest pass or promotional code. These subscriptions expire automatically with no renewal.
  • Gift certificates, guest passes and promotional codes can't be redeemed through Apple's App Store or Google Play or inside the Ten Percent Happier app itself. They can only be redeemed at tenpercent.com/redeem.
